About Us

My name is Douglas Fister, owner of Everly Wildes Custom Woodwork. I was born and raised in the Central Valley of California but have spent almost half my life traveling throughout the United States. Growing up, I was always the kid who wanted to be outdoors working and playing, which has led me to a passion of wood working. I have learned much of what I know from my parents, as well as friends, who took the time to teach me.  Since retiring from professional baseball and traveling, I have turned to the wood working world as I continue to hone the skills necessary to create the perfect piece of furniture, art, and everyday useful item that you might be seeking.  The name "Everly Wildes" comes from our daughters' middle names and adds that special touch to our business.
